Today we are basking in the afterglow of a successful and lovely evening raising some money for BBC Children in Need. With both the family and the adult sitting full, the loaf was buzzing from 5pm yesterday.
The pizzas went down well, as did the Pudsey bandana buns that Claire Sutton and I decorated during the morning.
However, the evening wouldn't have been complete without the stories of Ceri Stevens, professional story teller. She captured the imaginations of children and adults alike and provided a wonderful evening of absolutely compelling entertainment.
Though we have yet to finalise the total, it looks like we raised well over £250 for this fantastic cause.
Look out for plans to run further pizza nights in the future.
Tomorrow night we are holding a pizza night at the loaf to raise money for BBC Children in Need. Local story teller, Ceri Stevens, will be entertaining us with stories on a family theme. We will be baking and serving pizza for both a family sitting at 5pm and an adult sitting at 7.30pm. We are delighted to run an event for this worthwhile cause and will be wearing our Pudsey bandanas with pride!
Though we have sold all the tickets, you are welcome to make a donation through us to BBC Children in need by popping in to the shop and speaking to one of the staff.
If you want to get hold of a fab e-bandanas like the one Andy is wearing above, just visit the BBC site and make a small donation.
