Moving forward a pace with work in Matlock. Partitions removed yesterday and a new doorway to the toilet created - hoping for a door to fill the doorway by the start of next week! The painting has started in earnest and the shop front has already been primed ready for its shiny red livery and lovely sign.
The Matlock Mercury did us proud with this article today and we are expecting a piece in the Derby Telegraph next week too. We have also had a nice couple of pieces in the November edition of Derbyshire Life which has a really great series of pieces in about Belper and Amber Valley.
One of the things the press are focusing on is the opportunity to help shape the products we offer at the loaf, Matlock. We have an online survey running which you are welcome to complete. We are really valuing the comments and suggestions that are already coming in so do add your views...
Getting very excited about opening next Thursday...it's not long now!
The opening day for the new branch of the loaf in Matlock is now fixed. So that we get things right from day one, it would be great to get any help you can give about what products and services you would like to see in Matlock.
Obviously we will be stocking as many of the products which we sell in Crich as possible. However, we will not necessarily be able to stock the full range of breads in the new shop. That said, there is scope to stock some things in Matlock that we don't currently stock in Crich.
Thanks for taking the time to respond to the survey and we look forward to welcoming you in Matlock.
