Baking trials

5 grain sourdough

Today I am busy baking for the Crich branch of the WEA - Workers' Educational Association. They are having a talk this evening and instead of serving biscuits with their coffee and tea, they have asked if I would like to bake some bread and cake typical of what we will be making at the loaf.

I have a sourdough olive bread and a 'Crich Sourdough' proving away in the kitchen and I am going to bake some red wine cake, rum and raisin banana cake and orange and chocolate marble cake later.

I will post some pictures of the goods later if they turn out well!
