Brunch specials

by Andrew Auld

Brunch special

After a few comments from customers and many suggestions, we have started making brunch specials in the cafe as an alternative to the dish of the day... as we thought it's time we showed our breakfast club some more love!

Mushroom Brunch Special
Mushroom Brunch Special

Two poached eggs on a bed of fried chestnut mushrooms, with garlic and fresh basil all on a toasted brioche bun... oh and a dollop of sour cream and chives

The alternative breakfast
The alternative breakfast

Two fried eggs with roast cherry tomatoes, avocado and rocket seasoned with chili, lime zest and coriander, this one is certainly one to kick off your day the right way!

Shakshouka
Shakshouka

Inspired by a morrocon recipe we came across in our spare time here at the loaf, this is spicy chorizo with red onions, roast peppers and tomatoes, chipotle chilli, paprika and corriander... and of course we've topped it with a baked egg !
