We released our last batch of bread baking courses - which saw a huge demand. You asked for some more dates, and we listened, we have added two more dates - these are likely to be the last courses so if you've ever thought about taking part, now is your chance.
All About The Dough (AATD): This one-day course aims to give beginners and those brushing up their skills an introduction to the different stages involved in making bread. Next available date: Sunday 17 March 2019.
100% Sour: This is a one-day course aimed at home bakers who are interested in getting in to the exciting world of sourdough baking. Next available date: Sunday 24 March 2019.

Welcome to the loaf.We are a busy and vibrant artisan bakery, delicatessen and café in Crich, Derbyshire.
We opened way back in October 2008 (oh how the time has flown!) Since then, we have expanded our bakery and supply to over 30 other businesses, attend farmers' and food markets five days a week, run pizza nights every Wednesday evening, run bread baking courses on Sundays and even cater for events such as weddings and birthdays... all this whilst still baking seven days a week, you could say we like to keep ourselves busy.
Just like many other artisan bakeries, we are also proud members of the Real Bread Campaign . We are among of the alliance of bakers whom are committed to producing proper, additive and enhancer free bread at an affordable price.

French cheese frenzy at the loaf !
Come and enjoy delicious fresh pizzas either in the comfort of the café or to take away. We are open from 6pm until 9pm every Wednesday. That's it for pizza nights this year, we will return in 2019... Tempt your taste buds with a delicious special pizza which changes every week . On Wednesday February 20, our special pizza will be: Tomato, Squash, chorizo and spinach.

We are regularly fully booked, so do phone to reserve your table if you fancy a pleasant evening of good food and convivial company.
